1. Find Out About Haley: Haley lives with her sister Emily in a house southwest of the town square at 2 Willow Lane:




She loves fashion, photography, and dislikes dirt.

2. Giving Gifts: Giving Haley gifts is a primary way to increase your friendship level. You can give her two gifts per week, plus an extra one on her birthday (Spring 14), which gives extra friendship points.

3. Interact Regularly: Talk to Haley daily and give her loved gifts to quickly increase your friendship level. If you see her out and about, make sure to engage in conversation.

4. Heart Events: As your friendship level increases, you'll unlock heart events that further deepen your relationship.


- Two Hearts: Enter Haley and Emily's house when they're both there.


- Four Hearts: Enter Haley's house when she's there.


- Six Hearts: Go to the beach between 10 AM and 4 PM (any season except winter).

5. The Bouquet: Once you reach 8 hearts with Haley, you can buy a bouquet from Pierre's General Store. Give it to her to start officially dating.

7. Mermaid’s Pendant: After reaching 10 hearts and upgrading your farmhouse at least once and repairing the bridge to the east of the beach, buy a Mermaid’s Pendant from the Old Mariner on the beach during a rainy day for 5,000g. Propose to Haley with the pendant.

8. Wedding: Haley will accept your proposal, and the wedding will take place three days later. Post-marriage, you can continue to build your relationship with her. When you are married she will move in with you and help around the farm.

- Check the TV daily for the weather report, so you know when to buy the Mermaid's Pendant.


- Use the Stardew Valley Wiki or similar resources to check Haley's schedule, as she moves around town and can be found in different places depending on the day and season.

- Participate in town events and festivals as interacting with Haley during these can also boost your friendship.

-Give Haley a gift on her birthday (Spring 14), birthday presents give extra friendship points. You are also able to give Haley a stardrop tea after giving her a gift for her birthday. The stardrop tea is a universal loved gift increasing the friendship even more.

- A good item to gift Haley is a Daffodil on her birthday, daffodils are easy to find when foraging and is a liked gift for Haley. (The higher quality the better)


-Dance with Haley during the Flower Dance on the 24th of Spring to increase your friendship.
-Buy Daffodils at Pierres booth during the flower festival to ensure you have liked gifts for Haley.

-Make sure to look at the bulletin board outside Pierre's General Store for a request from Haley, delivering her the item she requested will not only give you money but also friendship points.
