2FA: Ubisoft Connect Account Currently Does Not Have 2FA Enabled Error


This error is quite common as new Ubisoft Connect Accounts do not have this required option enabled. However, what the error message doesn't tell you is that you need to have 2FA enabled via the mobile authenticator app. If you have it enabled by email Growtopia will not work, and the error will continue.

STEAM: Please Try Again with a Steam Account connected to Ubisoft Connect


This error is prompted by attempting to play Growtopia on Steam whilst not having your Steam Account linked to the Ubisoft Connect launcher. However this can even happen if steam is linked to UC.

SOLUTION

You will have to go to the Ubisoft Website and login using your Ubisoft Connect Account, You will then need to go to the Account management page. To do this follow the steps below.



Once you have arrived at the account management, go to account information. As seen below.



Once you are at account information page, scroll to the bottom that is where you will see your linked accounts. Once you see this part of the page, you need to check if steam is linked to Ubisoft Connect. If you see Steam on this page then it is linked, if Steam isn't showing up on that list then it is not linked and you can skip this next step.



(Skip this step if you are already unlinked)
You can see that Steam is visible on my list. If this is the same as you then you will need to unlink it. You can do this by clicking the "unlink" button and agreeing to unlink. Now that we are unlinked we can move onto the new step.

The next step involves us logging out of Ubisoft Connect, You will need to open the launcher to do this. If you don't know how to do this, view the Sub-Guide below and return here https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3416870449
Once you have logged out of Ubisoft Connect, do not login when the login window appears, you must close it and start Growtopia through Steam. The Ubisoft Connect window will appear again after trying to start Growtopia on Steam, now you should login. Once you have logged in and entered your 2FA code this window will appear.



You will want to click "link accounts". Once you have done this Growtopia will open and this error should disappear.
Error 90002: Cant Connect to Ubisoft Connect


Error Code 90002 occurs when Ubisoft Connect fails to connect to the Growtopia Client. This can happen randomly when opening the game or after your computer screen goes into idle mode (screen goes black from inactivity), thus severing the connection between client and launcher.

SOLUTION
- Launch the game directly from the Ubisoft Connect Launcher
If this doesn't work
- Re-login into the Ubisoft Connect Launcher, and Re-Launch the Game
Error: Login Failed, Please Try Again


This Error can appear randomly and for no current known reason.

Solution
There is currently no known solution for this error, please comment one if you have it.
Account Linking is not Available at this Moment

This error occurs when attempting to unlink or link an account using the now-defunct "link" function at the bottom left part of the game menu.

SOLUTION
Unfortunately, this is not a bug, as this feature has been discontinued by Ubisoft; thus, you are stuck on whichever account you are currently logged in on.

@Themopo28 The account linking feature has been disabled permanently. You are stuck on whatever account you are on atm.

This is on steam. I run into the problem as soon as I load into the game and hit play. It prompts me with the Apple login, the google login, and the legacy login. However I’m not able to login with legacy bc I don’t have a legacy login.

im just not able to login at all, my apple login doesnt work and when i use google login it sits and loads for hours. im not even able to play the game even on a new account. all i can do is play on my phone.

How come whenever I try to login it says “during login request an error occurred:fail to get authorization response. Please try to login again.” I’ve tried logging in dozens of times but it won’t allow me to get in on pc only on my phone I’ve tried what seems like everything and I’m just not sure what to do

Its a common error. Normally its just your IP being blacklisted for some reason, It normally goes away after a few hours, however if it doesn't then you might want to try another network.

Error connecting, time out or something, i literally cant even play the game because of it (I have really good internet and it says that the servers are fine)
