1] Disable Steam Cloud
In the screenshot, saving is enabled, but you should have it turned off!!!
2] Copy-paste all game data in the /Appdata/Local/GetsuFumaDen into a safe place, then delete it from that location
Just copy this folder to any other location. When you are done, delete the original folder.
3] Open the game, set region to Japan.
On the language selection tab, select which one you want.
4] Start a new file, let it autosave, then return to title
After all the actions, when you are allowed to start a new game, simply exit the application.
5] Put old save("SaveSlot0.sav", etc) in, should work now
Now, when you go to /Appdata/Local/Getsu Fuma Den, you will see that the "Save" folder has appeared again. Your task is to transfer the "Save Slot 0.sav" (or a similar one) file from the old "Save" folder to the new one along the path \AppData\Local\GetsuFumaDen\Saved\SaveGames.
6] Turning on Steam Cloud
7] Afterword
Congratulations, now you can play this wonderful game!
