Rebel Flag

Description
A previous mod that contained the Rebel flag deleted it 'cause the uploader was afraid of people using it in a modern setting. They have every right to do what they want with their mod, but here you can use this flag however you please.

Personally I'm gonna be using it in a few of my trailer parks in my Parish.

This flag is fully animated thanks to Toyota Land Cruiser's Tutorial!

@Battosai Kenton I'm sorry you had to go through that, people are just stupid, ignorant, and full of themselves. I grew up (I still live here xd) but I grew up in Greenspoint, Houston, Tx. The Ghetto. During Middle School I was bullied for being white, I was called a cracker, trailer trash, redneck, school shooter, all that. I ain't 100% White, I'm Louisiana Creole. My mom is half black, and my grandmother is darker than some of the kids who bullied me. And 'cause of that my natural hair is very thick 4c, and I would also get bullied for that all the time particularly by black males. It led to me straightening out my hair during Highschool 'cause then everybody would leave me alone 'bout my hair. I tried hiding my natural hair from everybody.

You nor I did anything to deserve how we were treated, but retards are retards. Don't let em get to you man, don't waste your energy on trash

@mrfdot Until you live it (Racism) every day of your life you can't understand why I drive with my Drivers License and other docs on the dashboard because a cop can chose to kill me because i moved my hands to fast. Being called a DAN or REGINA as a child and not knowing what it mean until i was older by children and parents I grew up with. What did i do to deserve it. They've all have a Confederate flag, t shirt, belt buckle, sticker or some other form of the confederacy. It is a symbol of hate

@mrfdot History is history is to say someone from Afghanistan supporting and flying the Taliban flag in America is fine with you. The Confederate flag was and is still a symbol of hate and the Confederacy was Americas first terrorist group. Though this flag wasn't the original flag of the Confederacy, it became the flag of hate for America and people like me. The word pick nick was a Sunday tradition to lynch black people like me as the community gathered and celebrated it. basically Pick a N to lynch as they took home body parts for trophies. This is why America wont tell the true history of slavery, segregation, Jim Crow, Sundown Towns..... Some of the people that celebrated pick nicks are still alive.

I don't seek to change your mind, all I'm saying is that it's more nuanced than you think. It's all in the eyes of the beholder

It's only been a minority of people who fly and desecrate this flag under hatred and militantism. And these bad actors don't speak for everybody. It ain't the same as the Nazi Flag, a flag that is completely used for evil. It can't be compared to that. Just 'cause a minority of evil people fly a flag, don't change it's overall meaning for the other majority. Just like Old Glory, our national flag. Many people around the world especially many Iranians see that flag as the great satan, they burn it, they see it as only a flag of genocide, murder, and degeneracy.

Is that what the American flag is to us though?

@brandonpkatz I understand if you see it as a hateful flag, as it has been used for just that, and to say otherwise is denial. But it's more nuanced than you think. (idk 'bout outside the South but) Inside the South the majority of people who fly this flag don't hate other races, ethnicities, or religions. For many decades this flag has been reclaimed as a cultural flag for the South (as Cascadia, New England, Acadiana, and many other parts of the country have their own) and a symbol of being a Rebel. Live and Let Live, don't be controlled by overbearing authorities, and exercise your freedom.

Sorry Steam only allows 1000 characters so this is gonna be spanned over a few comments

I just don't personally see a problem with the flag, it represents something else to me than mainstream media portrays

Thanks for the flag. History is history, and we shouldn't be afraid to teach it, regardless of whatever representation.
