Better Combat Animations

ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ
Much needed update for original WH1 Human factions: Empire, Bretonnia, Chaos Warriors and Norsca. Specifically animation sets for Hu1 and Hu1c. The slow overdrawn attacks have been replaced with concise and dexterous movements. Spearmen perform quick thrusts, swords, axes and halberds hack, slash and thrust. Soldiers with shields perform defensive attacks while guarding and shield bash to create space. Great weapons perform vicious strikes but no longer over step losing their footing. Troops now stand at attention while idling without constant jeering and taunting. The faster, more concise animations increase unit lethality somewhat (by allowing sooner follow up attacks) From my observations this has brought parity with WH2/3 factions.

This mod does not swap unit animation sets (ie swapping Empire Spearmen with Tomb Guard) but edits the animation sets themselves so it will work with new units using vanilla sets. Save game compatible, safe to turn on/ off anytime. Compatible with Marthenil's excellent Reloading Animations.

nevermind i found out, since i presume you used the same animations for karl franz and peasant mob they all get his ghal maraz sound effect, multiplied by 160 XD, i removed the peasant animations in rpfm to solve it for me atleast

hi, i like your mod. but it seems to be causing a bug where the peasant mob have the same ambient audio as the grail knights/guardians? like the magical weapon ambient noise. have you noticed this?

Hi, thanks for the mod. I think it is always a good thing to see people trying to fix the goofy animations from WH1. I just wanted to point out that it should be "losing their footing." in the description.

@Shorewall, is this compatible with custom units? Like let's say I made a new Empire Spearman/Halberdier with the same Skeleton. Will their animations change to what you made? Hoping it will hehe. Thanks!
