Eh? from what I understand you're using a 3d model editor, which you don't need. You could do it that way but, its just easier to follow the steps on the video I linked in an earlier comment.

Quick update: I'm trying to convert Reika from Rochelle to Zoey & I'm having trouble to get the model to show up properly. One time the model is missing textures, & the other time the model is completely invisible. The FPS Arms & VGUI works great though.

@Core Values Bro Much easier than I thought actually. I can recommend this video to learn how to do it: https://youtu.be/_QT2KGXCd-w

In a nutshell, you need to change the files' names to the survivor you want, and you need to change the HEX code on two mdl. files shown about 35 minutes into the video.

For this you'll just need L4d2 authoring tools, and a HEX editor.
