User Settings, where to find them and what they do

  • User settings are found in your local folder, C:\Users\[YOUR USER NAME]\AppData\Local\PanelkiProject\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
  • The game shares settings similar to older unreal games and exposes settings not available to the player.
  • The GameUserSettings configuration file controls the graphics settings the game will use.

The content of the file is as follows(with variations depending on your chosen settings):

Motionblur, and other optional configurations
Motionblur

[SystemSettings]
r.MotionBlur.Max=0
r.MotionBlurQuality=0
r.DefaultFeature.MotionBlur=0

  • These should ideally go into your Engine config file which is located at the same place, scroll to the bottom and simply copy paste.
  • You should change the Engine file to READ ONLY once you have applied the settings as some games can render settings invalid on restart/loading scenes.

FOV

FieldOfView=1-100

  • Change the number depending on what you prefer.
  • This setting can be placed under [/script/engine.gameusersettings]
How to edit other settings not mentioned or not in the config
Google is your friend, you can simply google Unreal Engine configuration settings or if you already know a game you play that also uses Unreal Engine you can copy paste settings and just simply try out what works. Some settings may not available or useable and so you must simply try it out.

Hmm. I'll have a look tomorrow, but see if you can find any other unreal game where people have asked the same. Technically all we should need is to copy the setting into either engine or system so if we can find the configuration that tells the game the setting we should be able to disable it.

Do you have any clues on how to disable the head bobbing? I tried googling it but couldn't find the answer

Good to hear it, you can also try different settings I haven't written here, probably there are several ones you can attempt to use, you can even take ones from other games.
