I noticed some new players are asking how to add their own pictures to Garry's Mod as backgrounds.


Do you always want your background to be added, like in this example?





It's easy! You don't need any modding tools to add these to the game. I'll explain how to do it.

You can find the folder for backgrounds in the game files, and you can make backup files.





Make sure your pictures are in JPG format so they can be loaded into the game.





After that, you can just drag your pictures into the folder. Boom.
