Ok so this may sound completely unrelated but first you have to wait uintil 4 am wadn the n tyou have to go to kitchen and make ham sandwich and leave it outside for 45 minutes then drive into the nearest forest (preferably crashing into a tree) and eat it at 5:30 am (you should have plenty of time). then you want to boot up the game on whichever device you have drg available on and then you have to go to the abyss bar after putting every barrel in the space rig into the drop pod. Once you have done this, order a glyphid slammer from the bar, jump and spin 5 times in front of the deep dive terminal, then jump into the barrel kicking hoop and enter a deep scan mission in magma core. Once you have started the mission, the resonance crystal scanners will help you with finding the location of Karl instead of the morkite geode. Once all the crystal scanners have been set up the drillevator will arrive, however you want to skip that part of the mission and instead let glyphids kill you so that you end up back in the space rig. When you get to the space rig, equip the gold skin colour option on all four dwarves and head into the abyss bar where you have to order a blackout stout. After drinking it and passing out you will wake up in a new secret room in the space rig, where you will find Karl. I hope this guide will help you with finding Karl.
