This turned into the grind 90 fps Koishi could've been if I hadn't gotten lucky on the first run where I capped Rorshach. Over 1000 attempts total, with dozens of paces lost to the last four spellcards.

The stage section was mostly okay, except for the second wave of fairies that come from the bottom and shoot green rice bullets. It wasn't too bad this run, but it gets seriously awful sometimes. I died to it so often in the beginning that I actually switched to ReimuA for a few hundred attempts just because she trivialized it and allowed me to actually get to the boss. Kanako midnon was a pain at 90 as well, but I got much better at it over time.

As for run killers from the boss herself, most of them were late into the stage. I had some trouble consistently doing Moriya's Iron Ring at 90 fps without walling myself, but I came up with a new route that made it consistent. Besides that, all of the early attacks became pretty trivial over time, and I only occasionally lost runs to them.

Froggy Braves the Wind and Rain was the biggest run killer by far. Remember how I mentioned losing dozens of paces to the last few spellcards? Well most of those were to froggy. At 60 fps, and even 75 to some extent, you can push up and then coast back down to avoid any really bad micros. At 90, however, you simply move too fast for that to be reliable. If you add another axis of movement beyond just horizontal, you'll bump into something eventually.

Dodging froggy at the bottom has the side effect, though, of making it very possible for this spellcard to either wall you or force you to do some micros you really don't want to be doing at 90 fps. Having said that, I did improve at it over time. By the time I got this run, I was consistently getting paces that lasted until three-quarters of the way through froggy. Though I'm pretty sure I got some really free RNG on it this run anyway.

Red frogs killed one run, but I was decent at it for the most part. It's a route, so although manipulating the two frogs at the end is often troublesome, it didn't kill me that often. I kinda came close to dying to it this run, but like I said in the description of my 60 fps MoF ExNN, nowhere on youtube will you find a clean red frogs capture.

Suwa war was the second main run killer, which is unfortunate because it's the second-to-last spellcard. Even getting to it is a huge pain, what with froggy killing 4 out of 5 runs at the minimum, so it sucks that suwa war is such a diceroll. You can get forced into a bad lane before you go back to the middle in the end and just get walled, you can die to things spawning on you when you push up at the end, and you can get hard walled at the last second by whatever mess of bullets is there before the card ends.

I think I lost around a dozen runs to suwa war, although admittedly a lot of that was because I was doing the very last part wrong, basically asking her to wall me. Once I got that part down, it only took three more runs making it there on pace for me to ExNN.

I did lose one run to final as well, though. Very similarly to with my 90 fps Koishi ExNN grind, I had one run on like the first day of grinding where I got through all of the hard attacks. But unlike with 90 fps Koishi, I ended up choking at the very last minute, and died right as the final spellcard was ending. The sound cue played, and all of the bullets were in the middle of disappearing, but I moved up into a bullet. It was painful, but I honestly think having to play this stage for 9 more days helped me improve at Touhou quite a lot, so I can't really complain. I got there in the end, and that's all that matters.
