Primary roles: POI Combat SV, Shield, Upgradable

The Skaar-Hornet-RE2 is designed to be a low cost, agile, upgradeable ground POI fighter. It doesn't come with any weapons stock but has CPU available to add 6 light weapons of your choosing including both fixed launchers and turrets. Beyond stock specs, you can also add a warp drive, additional 1x3 generator, and 2x superior CPU cores bringing it to a core 9 build. It has 2 access doors on top side, 1 being access to the main core, the other accesses a part placement area where extra parts can be placed. Keep in mind you can use the space for the warp core for other parts like additional shield upgrades etc., if you don't need a warp drive.

Stock Features

The Hornet-RE2 comes stock with a detector, 8K ammo bay, clone chamber, trauma station, o2 and dispenser, cargo box, armor locker, 8-12 launcher mount points and 2 turret mount points. (launcher positions 9-12 would require removing deco antenna's).

Upgrade optons

The ship has locations to add 2x superior CPU cores, warp drive, 1 additional 1x3 generator, up to 12 launchers and 2 turrets. (You will have to remove the LCD's before placing the parts)

Offense and defense

The hull is built with steel and a armored prefab cockpit. The interior is built with steel and some cargo extensions. It has locations to add up to 12 launchers (small size), and 2 1x3 turrets. It has a SV Heavy shield with 1 additional shield capacitor with a total shield strength of 10387.

Notes: The Skaar-Hornet was setup for strafing and turning speed for attacking ground based POI's. You can swap out models of the prefab cockpit and the area around it is sealed off from the interior space.

You can place up to 6 light weapons with available stock CPU. I would recommend at least adding 1 turret on the top side to protect the ship from drone attacks if parked near a POI you are infiltrating on foot or bad things could happen :)

4 of the wing mount launcher positions will require you to remove an inverted cylinder block to place the part. These blocks were added to improve the looks while weapons were not installed.

One last thing, the ammo controller is visibly located on the left side of the ship between the cockpit and wing section.

I think this may not be buildable in the latest RE2 version? As far as I can tell, Commercial Constructors are no longer a thing. At a minimum, the vendors the spreadsheet says had them in v15 no longer seem to.
