People write that the higher the damage, the faster you gain masters that's why I recommend playing bludgeon weapons as they have the highest damage. In the second screenshot from this game I have a character that I made 20 masters and there the damage is 485-713

You don't have to play as I write, but I think that the most optimal character statistics (I saw them on another person and I use them myself, but I don't remember where I saw them). STR 21 / END 16 / DEX 14 / SPD 21 / WIL 8

And last : skill Haste / Haste and again Haste. + 2 passive and you don't need second active skill , Having haste throughout the entire game, I never used my second active skill
