SDC Clemson Class Heavy Destroyer

The SCN Clemson Class is the SCN's latest destroyer design and the third most commonly fielded ship in the fleet. Constructed to be a more heavily armored and armed warship, the Clemson fields 16 VLS bays and a complement of 4 main point defense turrets, as well as a medium rail turret. The Clemson's point defense array is one of the most formidable in the SCN fleet, coupled with an advanced fire control system the Clemson eclipses most other combatants. Purpose built for expeditionary fighting the Clemson boasts a massive range enabling it to stay away from port for extended periods of time. Equipped with a gen III Kusayagi-Stewart FTL drive the Clemson has a significantly greater jump range than the Spruance as well. The Clemson's capabilities expand upon the USCS's growing number of capabilities, enabling the States to better project power across the Artemis-01 System, as well as engaging pirate targets in the outer belt of the system. The SCN currently fields 5 Clemson classes out of its 15 total destroyers, though comparatively small the Clemson more than makes up for this in its sheer amount of firepower, able to quickly lay down fire on any target. Coupled with its immense speed and maneuverability the Clemson is a force to be reckoned with.

I've been working on the Clemson for quite some time now, for the better half of two months and I'm so happy to finally have it done, this ship has been a pleasure to work on and I really enjoy how its turned out. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have, and remember to stay happy and healthy!
