Mercury Mariner 2011 Vehicle & Prop

For the second generation for the Mariner, the 2008 model year boasted a thorough redesign, despite remaining on the Ford CD2 platform used by the outgoing generation.

This version of the Mariner was its last, as Ford discontinued the Mercury brand due to declining sales. Ford ended production of the Mariner in October 2010.

The last Mariner was assembled on October 5, 2010.

This is great! Good to see some love for an often-overlooked middle market brand. I concur with the comments below that some Oldsmobiles would be awesome to see too. I owned two of them, and they would be a fun addition to C:S.

Yea, it's really a shame. I really wanted an Olds or Saab for a long time. Unfortunately they were long gone before I could get a car that wasn't too old. It would be nice to see some Oldsmobiles and Pontiacs in CS.

It's a real shame Mercury suffered the same fate as Oldsmobile, Pontiac, and Plymouth. All brands killed off. :(
