  • Open the folder C:\Users\<user_name>\Documents\WB Games\Batman Arkham City GOTY\BmGame\Config
  • Open UserEngine.ini file with any text redactor
  • Change PhysXLevel=2 ----------> PhysXLevel=0
  • Change bPhysXPatched=True ----------> bPhysXPatched=FALSE

You can also try to change only one of them. Or install/reinstall/patch PhysX feature
