Preparation
Requirements
  • ReShade v5.0.2 or greater: A post-processing tool for graphics enhancement.
  • .NET 6.0 or greater: A framework required for many applications.

Checking Requirements
  • ReShade: Ensure you have downloaded and installed ReShade v5.0.2 or greater.
  • .NET Framework: Check if you have .NET 6.0 or greater installed. If not, download it from the official Microsoft website.
Installing ReShade
  • 1. Download: Download ReShade from the https://reshade.me/
  • 2. Installation:
    • Run the ReShade installer.
    • Select the game eldenring.exe from your Elden Ring installation directory
    • Install all effect packages except "VR Tools" and "Legacy Pack" to avoid conflicts with other presets.
    • Choose Direct 10/11/12 as the rendering API.
    • MAKE SURE TO INSTALL ALL EFFECT PACKAGES BUT "VR TOOLS" & "LEGACY PACK" WHEN INSTALLING RESHADE

Installing the Eden VOLITION - Graphics Mod
1. Download: Download the mod from Nexus Mods and save the installer on your PC.
2. Run: Run the Volition Installer. It is a portable executable file.
3. Settings:
  • Disable "automatic detection" in Elden Ring's display settings to prevent visual artifacts.
  • Set anti-aliasing and motion blur to "low" or disable them.
  • Ensure the in-game brightness is between 3 and 7.
  • Do not enable HDR mode.

  • Select your visual settings based on your preferences !
  • I have used different settings myself


Adjusting Game Settings
  • Brightness: Set the in-game brightness between 3 and 7 for the best results.
  • Anti-Aliasing and Motion Blur: Set these settings to "low" or disable them to prevent visual artifacts.

Updating and Uninstalling the Mod
Updating
  • Download the latest installer from Nexus Mods.
  • Run the installer to uninstall the current version and install the new version.

Uninstalling
  • Remove the ReShade files from the "game" folder in the Elden Ring installation directory:
  • reshade-shaders folder
  • reshade-presets folder
  • dxgi.dll file
  • ReShade.ini file
