Thanks for clicking on my Deadly Lover's Fortress guide! I recommend playing through the map at least once first, as it does provide you with direction for the first half of the story and it's quite fun! :)

You will have to fight through two different Balor mini bosses. The first is after you raise the gates, and the second is after you destroy the first generator.

You'll need to break further into the castle using the battering ram. You need four oil to be able to light it which you can find in the Banqueting Hall and the Castle Grounds. They look like the picture above... quite obvious!



Grab the torch in front of the ice wall in the Banqueting Hall, then go to the Castle Grounds where you destroyed the generators to light it. Head back to the battering ram, interact with it, then activate it to the left of the ice wall.

Before you interact with the machine, you can look at three different chalkboards to make it a lot easier and hopefully get the Speed Dating achievement!



Chalkboard A - Up and to the left from the machine you need to interact with



Chalkboard B - Go through the door below the first chalkboard and take two rights to head upstairs. The next chalkboard will be to the left after you head through the door.



Chalkboard C - On the opposite side of the room from the machine you need to interact with, to the left of the green mist enemy spawn area you'll see when you turn around.



When you fill all three vials, the King of the Rats will spawn! Run around and fight it, then when it's dead you can pick up the fuel!

Take the fuel back to the teleportation platform, teleport, and start working on the next step!

Use the teleporter, pick up the chalice, then head to the cell holding the three quiet ones.



After you've unlocked it, escort the quiet one to one of these square platforms and shock it using a nearby lever!



After you've shocked the second quiet one, find this hanging guy to collect his blood. Same again with the third quiet one!



When you've completed that, open the Gates of the Damned to mess up Balor the Undying!

Teleport out of the dungeon and run back to spawn, which is the further away waypoint. You'll need to flip all of the square to be green and not red. I've created a grid system to help you find the correct buttons!



A1 - To the left of the grid. Head up the path and through the archway then look right.



A2 - Head left away from the grid, passing the hanging corpse. You'll be running directly towards the button.



A3 - To the right of the grid, in the area where you spawned in.



B1 - Head left of the grid and stay left until you run into this near the weapon buys.



B2 - Just to the left of the grid.



B3 - In the area where you had to shoot all of the generators, in front of the Ammo Blamo machine.



C1 - To the left of the grid. Head up the path and through the archway near the Swift Death perk, then go through the castle archway and it will be on your left.



C2 - Head left of the grid and stay left until you run into the castle wall, then the button will be on your left.



C3 - To the left of the grid. Head up the path and through the archway then look left near the Swift Death perk.



When you're done, interact with the chest to summon and fight Abraham!

Head to the forge and interact with the machine. You will need to interact with five valves, but do not fret! Each one has it's own waypoint :)



When you're done, head to the teleporter to get to the dungeon and farm the forging materials!



When you've picked up the third set of forging materials, Isaac will spawn. Kick his ass!

Put all of the heads in the door to head into the boss fight. Good luck!

Interact with the machine holding the God Killer, then shoot the stranger next to it to start the next step!

Like all of the other maps, you'll need to search around the Deadly Lover's Fortress to shoot three of these strangers! I've ordered the screenshots in the order I search for the strangers if you want a route to follow :)



In the Banqueting Hall on the second floor, in the room to the left of the deadly lover's chamber entrance.



In the Banqueting Hall on a ledge opposite the ice wall that the battering ram broke through.



In the Castle Grounds, when looking at the Super Charger Machine, look up and to the left and the stranger may be standing in the archway.



In the Castle Grounds, up the stairs on the side opposite of the Super Charger machine. You'll see him on a ledge to your left as you're heading up to the Elixir of Life area.



In the Outer Court near spawn, up and to the left from the grid.



In the Cloning Laboratory, in a cage to the left of chalkboard A.

Head back through the teleporter and run to the end of the dungeon. There will be a box with a glowing purple symbol. You will need to interact with it to start a lamb escort sequence, and when you're done escorting the lamb, both Abraham and Isaac will spawn!

If you don't have it already, go pick up the sword you forged, then run back to spawn and interact with this machine. You'll have to run around and slice at the five hanging corpses with glowing eyes in the area.



First, run straight down the path and it will be on the opposite side of the grid.



Continue running away from the grid and head left to find the next corpse.



Run back down the stairs, then up the stairs on the opposite side of the path to the area with the Swift Death perk. The corpse will be right next to it.



Turn around and look away from the Swift Death perk and the corpse will be to the left of the button.



Finally, run through the Swift Death archway and you'll see the corpse to the left of the castle gate.



When you have sliced all five, interact with the machine again to cause Balor and the King Rat to spawn, mess them up, then you're all done this step!

Head through the teleporter back to the dungeon again. Run through the doorway in The Factory and take your first left. You'll see the lantern glowing purple on the wall.



There will be four numbered cells that, when close with the lantern out, will have glowing symbols on the walls. You need to find three of these before you can move on to the next step.



When you've found at least three, head past where you found the lamb escort into the Dungeon Laboratory. You'll find where you need to input the symbols in the far left corner, then you'll unlock the fourth and final God Killer seal!

Head back to the boss chamber and input your seal. Good luck, and congratulations on beating Deadly Lover's Fortress' hidden objective!

While facing the exit, it's just to the right.

Complete the "Weird Science" objective in under 4 minutes

Write down all of the chalkboard combinations and their respective letters before you interact with the machine with the vials, then it's quite easy!

Complete "Gates of the Damned Part I" without receiving damage

This is tracked from when you harvest blood after you escort the third quiet one in the Dungeon up to when you defeat Balor the Undying. Wait until you're at the end of the round and save an enemy for this fight. If you're on a lower difficulty and have a high time between rounds, kill the enemy right before you interact with the door to spawn Balor.

Complete Deadly Lover's Fortress under 35 minutes

This feels calibrated for Normal, so try it on that if you're struggling! I found Hard took a little bit too long with all of the bosses and my lower DPS.

This isn't too bad, just be patient and try to fight the bosses near the ends of rounds if you are feeling overwhelmed.

Once you get going this feels like a super easy Nightmare run, especially if you've unlocked the God Killer already. I utilized the Hunting Rifle a lot in the beginning to eliminate the first Balors and get set up :)
