Until I removed these two options (-NoLauncher and -NoStartupMovies) from the launch properties and restarted the game from my Steam library, I was stuck in the moonshot container, unable to continue True Vault Hunter Mode.

Starting the game from Steam's notification area icon still skipped the startup movies but when I launched the game from the library the usual splash screen appeared and shortly after that Janey Springs welcomed me to Elpis. Bullet dodged.

The only issue it has caused for me (on a Windows 8 PC) is that the cutscene with Janey Springs when you are first shot to the moon WILL NOT play while these are on. I've managed to bypass that by joining another player's game that was doing that part of the mission. Also just removing those launch options got it to work immediately, so you can keep the options loaded for all except that first mission with any character if yo encounter this bug.

It messes with many points in the game for me... basically, any time I have a movie play, I can't advance. -NoStartupMovies is the cause, easily reverted until I get past the point of stoppage.

Well it doesn't break my game, and it doesn't break many others' game either. This seems to be a very isolated problem for only a few people. If you encounter the bug after applying this, simply delete the lines. Chances are, you wont have to.

THIS BREAKS YOUR GAME. When about to be moonshot, you get loaded into an empty container and can not move on. DO NOT USE. Going into WillowEngine.ini and commenting out the startup movies lines like previously done in BL2 also breaks that part of the game for now.
