Training Grounds

Welcome to the Training Grounds!
The tutorial area of Tackelbox.

When you start the game this coin is to the left on the small mound with a sign.

To the left of the mound is a grinding rail with 3 coins.

These 2 floating coins can be reached by slightly diving under the water, boosting and immediately going upwards to shoot out of the water.

Inside the small island in the middle of the pond under the water is a hole with a coin in it.

3 coins can be found under the water right behind the island and against the wall.

A coin is floating right behind the waterfall and requires a simple wall jump to reach.

Use the spike ball lure to destroy each of the balloons that are floating above the small island, they all drop a coin each for a total of 7 coins.

In the middle of the training ground use the pole to swing jump into the floating coin.

Looking behind yourself after grabbing the pole swinging coin are 3 coins on the wall and roof on climbable surfaces.

To the right of the climbable surfaces are trapeze you can hang on to that has 3 coins.
Plus 1 coin on a box by the wall.

Next to the trapeze are bouncy rope and poles to climb.
Keep jumping on the rope to gain upwards momentum to reach the 2 floating coins, climb and jump off the poles to reach the 3 coins around them.

Grab a lure from the tree and throw it in the pond to catch the fish.
The Bone Outpost

Welcome to the Bone Outpost!
Here you'll learn the basics of grinding and wall jumping!

One green fish next to the big building, grinding around in circles.

Before you start climbing this place go to this part of the wall to find 2 coins.

To get to this building use the rail next to it to reach the cracked part of the wall and climb up from there for a coin worth 5.

Once you made your way to the top and reach the wooden block that you can pull out with your fishing rod. Turn around and there is a hole in the wall directly under you with 4 coins.

To get to the roof do a sideways wall jump between these blocks to reach the smaller one. From there jump to the top for 6 coins.

Right under the roof is a small platform with 2 coins.

Two Forts

Welcome to the Two Forts!
Here you'll learn more advanced grinding and platforming!

Before you do anything else go to this fish shaped well with 2 coins in it.

On the outside of the fort are these doorways. Go inside to find 3 coins.

Next to the fishing hook on the side the building, wall jump between these damaged parts of the wall to reach an open room with 2 floating coins.

One green fish on this platform in front of a big wooden door.

After you have opened the wooden door, peek down to find two coins resting on a wooden beam.

Use the rail to grind to the top and do a quick wall jump to reach the wooden floor.
Follow the wood around the building to reach a pillar with two coins on top.

Once you reach the upper part of the big building, go to the first window on your left and jump out to the wooden beam for 2 coins.

Use the flinger in this direction to reach this floating rail to reach the top of the tower for 2 coins.

Use the flinger in this direction and make sure you land on the rail adjacent to the floor to make the jump to the top of the roof for one green fish.
Slippery Slopes

Welcome to the Slippery Slopes!
Here you'll learn all about slippery surfaces and how to preserve momentum!

Right at the entrance are two enemies with coins in them and 1 floating coin.

Once you have gone up the flower there are 2 coins that subtly indicate where you should stand to take the flower in the two different paths.

Stand somewhere here or further back to get enough momentum from the flower to go up the slippery slope to this area with 6 coins.

The slippery triangle beam with the moving platform has 2 floating coins above it and 1 under it.

Out in the open below the moving platform is a green fish on top of a bunch of slippery slopes.

Once you reach the top.
Use this flower to gain enough momentum that you can wall run across this gap to get 3 coins.

Remember to open the wooden doors first!
This is a bit tricky, get a sand worm to carry you and just as it is about to touch the ramp hit the boost button and just as your character is about to leave the ramp press the jump button and let go of the worm for enough of a boost necessary to reach this coin worth 10.

After going up the same ramp turn left and walk down this path for 3 floating coins at the top of the rock.

After going up the same ramp, head to the right and follow the wall, jump across the open doors and door frame to reach a slippery surface with a grappling hook.
Grapple across, jump to the flinger and fling yourself up to the two coins worth 5 each for a total of 10.
Also make sure you hit the fishing rod for additional coin later.

I really wish I had better advice for these.
For the single coin you can just allow your character to glide down normally.
But for both the fish and the 3 coins you're gonna need to do some ground pound angled jumps.
It takes a lot of tries but you'll get it eventually.

From the top of the ramp aim at the stone parts of the ramp to kill your momentum follow the stone surfaces to the edge as per the picture, then do a quick wall run to get to the platform with 3 coins.

From the top of the ramp aim for the right building and grab on to the grappling hook to navigate to this platform with 3 coins.

On your way back up from getting the ramp coins you probably noticed these 3 floating coins.
Get them on your way up the fishing line.

After going up the fishing line look backwards to find this lonely stone fountain a bit away from the area with a coin worth 5 in it.
Twin Spires

Welcome to the Twin Spires!
Here you'll learn more about preserving momentum and grappling hooks.

One of the three fishing hooks you can aim for while swinging to the right tower has 3 coins.
Either aim for this hook while swinging or jump down to the coins from above if you catch one of the other hooks.

The rightmost spire has one orange fish on top of it.

Jump off this wooden beam away from the cliff edge and get ready to grab on to the grappling hook to swing yourself to the stone archway and 3 coins.

From the top of the rightmost spire, do a spinning jump to slowly glide down to the window to find 3 coins.
The Drowned Towers

Welcome to the Drowned Towers!
Here is one of the extra difficult locations that really tests your platforming skills.

Right under the tree with the lure are 2 coins floating on a rock.

Standing on this lily pad and looking down under the water reveals a hole in the ground with 5 coins and 1 coin worth 5 for a total of 10 coins.

A blue fish is jumping along these lily pads.

Once inside the tower there is one enemy on the big lily pad and 4 coins hanging on the roof on climbable surfaces.

Just outside this window hides 3 coins.

Huge shoutout to Sammang for helping me with finding these ones!!!
From the window run back and wall run to this orange pole and use it to swing to the alcove for an extra sneaky 4 coins!

Going back to the window look straight ahead and across the gap to find two enemies.

After swinging across the two grappling hooks there are 4 coins along the slope.

After reaching the fishing line look directly down find a pillar with 2 coins at the top.
Spin jump to slowly glide down to it from above.

From the fishing line climb up the wall and walk along the roof to find 4 coins next to the wall.

Pull out this block and slide under it to reach a hidden room with a sneaky blue fish inside.

After reaching the top of this part there are three enemies and 3 coins waiting for you.

On the upper part coming out of the tower, walk down this wooden slope to get 2 coins.

Jump down the pit with the blue flowers to unlock a shortcut back up and to get these 3 coins on the pillar.

Inside the tower with the blue flowers there is a path halfway up that leads to 4 additional blue flowers under the bridge. From this place jump down the platforms to reach the tree at the bottom.
In this tree is a lure you can use on the blue fish in the water straight ahead.

At the edge of the tower with the blue flowers.
Go to the edge and do a spinning jump to slowly glide down to this little platform with a coin worth 5.

Hidden behind these pots is a platform with 2 coins and a sign.

Continue jumping or ground pound on the bouncy rope to go down enough to reach the coins.

At the top of the tower is a golden fish!

Do a spinning jump to slowly glide town to the 2 coins on this pillar.

From the pillar, climb these cracks in the roof to get 2 more coins.
Go back to the pillar.

From the pillar continue heading left to find 3 coins on a bouncy rope.

From the bouncy rope continue down the roof to this wooden pillar that is almost about to fall off to find 3 coins.
Bouncy Barracks

Welcome to the Bouncy Barracks!
Here you'll learn all about how bouncy surfaces work.

On top of the main section is a single green fish.

Jump on the bouncy floor here and do a wall run to get higher up, follow the bouncy platforms until you each the damaged part of the wall into the tower. Jump down on to the hole and bounce into the sky!
Land on the outer edge of the top of the tower for 3 coins.

Use the bouncy surface to reach this window in the main section and enter to find one orange fish.

Still inside the main section go to the back to find 2 coins on a ledge.
Bomb Bird Bay

Welcome to Bomb Bird Bay!
Here you'll learn all about the dangerous bomb bird and their ability to break rocks!

Warning
Make sure the bomb bird doesn't destroy the rock to the left in this picture as you scale the mountain to more easily grab this coin. You can do a tricky ground pond jump from the right to get it too.
But I highly recommend keeping that rock intact to make it easier on yourself!
Go back out and in of the game to respawn the rocks.

Right at the start go across the river to find 3 enemies

Get the bomb bird to blow up this rock to find a cave with four enemies in it.

Further along on the river are lily pads with 3 coins and a big lily pad with three enemies on it.

After using the flinger by the fishing rod there are three enemies by the tree.

After reaching the flinger by the wooden support instead jump down to find three enemies and lures.

Use the lure here to catch the blue fish inside the mountain.

Instead of going for the ropes by the urns, head further to the right to get 4 coins on this archway.

At the top of the mountain defeat the bomb bird for a coin worth 5.

Use the rock close to this pillar to get the coin worth 10.

Use the flinger to reach the bouncy ropes and jump up to the top of this pillar for 1 coin.

From the top area of the mountain go up to this archway on the climbable surface to reach 3 sneaky coins behind the cliff.

From the archway head across the rope to reach an orange fish in the middle of the circle with the wooden ramps.

After catching the fish head to this side of the cliff and jump down top this platform with a tree and stone support to find five enemies and a coin worth 5.

Go under the waterfall here for the last coins in this area in the underwater cave.

You can find 4 coins at the top of the small pillar in the middle of the underwater cave.

There are 6 coins under the water around the dangerous spiky urchins.
The Wheels of Fortune

Welcome to the Wheels of Fortune!
Here you'll learn all about flingers and moving terrain!

On the wall at the edge out in the open there are 2 coins to be found.

Directly under the wall you're on jump down to this ledge for 2 coins.

Climb up the smaller tower and look down inside to find two platforms with 2 coins worth 5 each for 10 total.

Inside one of the holes in the first wheel, time your fling so you go into the correct hole for 1 coin.

Directly after scale these pointy ends to get 1 coin.

At the two wheels spinning at the same time, wait for their holes to align on the right side and fling to the platform for 2 coins.

Inside the hole of the wheel on the floor is 1 coin.

Jump down this hole and grab hold of one of the spinning grappling hooks to get to this platform on the edge with a blue fish hiding.

Climb to the top of this room by flinging yourself from the spinning wheel on the floor.
And go to the edge in the back and do a spinning jump to glide down into the back to find 2 floating coins inside the room.

Climb the side of the wall here and use the poles to swing up to this platform with 2 coins.

Once inside the larger tower break these pots to find a flinger, use it to fling yourself across to find one blue fish.

Jump into one of the holes in the wheel and ride it to the floor above the pots and flinger to find 3 coins.

Jump into one of the outer half-holes from the second floor to reach the roof.
From here grab on to the extra large flinger and fling yourself to the platform with 1 coin worth 10.
The Mountainside Towers

Welcome to the Mountainside Towers!
Here you'll learn all about seesaws and some more advanced platforming.

Jump across the seesaw to reach these 2 coins.

Wall jump up the pillar and the wall and at the apex of the pillar angle your jump so you start wall running along the wall and keep jumping along the walls until you reach the platform with 2 coins.

After getting the two coins wall run back and jump on this broken part of the roof to get to 2 sneaky coins at the top of a pillar.

In the middle portion of the towers is a blue fish jumping around.

Climb on top of these gaps in the side of the tower to find 2 sneaky coins.

Go to the back of the tower that is over the cliffedge and go to the back to find a pole to climb.
Climb it halfway up and jump to the edge of the rock with the pattern and scuttle along it to the front portion to find 3 coins inside the tower.

Go to the bottom part of the building on the cliff by climbing along these pointy ends to reach this alcove with 3 coins.
The Cube

Welcome to the Cube!
Here you'll learn all about changing the terrain.

Pull out the platforms from the cube and sprint to the left side and go into the opening behind the platform and enter inside the cube to find 3 sneaky coins.

Run to the back of the cube to find 3 coins alongside the wall.

After the platforms have been pulled out, hurry to the middle portion to get 3 coins.

Once you reached the top of the cube there is one green fish.

The Ruined Ruins (Continued in The Garden)

Welcome to the Ruined Ruins!
Here your platforming skills will be put to the ultimate test.

At the entrance to the ruins is a hedge with two enemies.

After reaching the first platform on the right side tower you'll find 2 coins on the edge

On the same platform you can find two enemies.

After reaching the left side tower you can find 2 coins just the same as the other tower.
They are mirrored.

In front of the entrance doors are three enemies.

Below is a pit with quicksand and one orange fish.

Further upwards you'll find two enemies next to this climbable surface

In the open space with the hedges there is one orange fish.

Jump to the platform of the left tower to find 3 coins

You'll find one enemy on the platform of the right tower on your way up.

While making your way further up head to the left here to find a platform with 3 coins.

On this side of the two hanging circles do a ground pound jump on the sloped surface to reach this window with 1 coin on it.

Do a slide jump from the top of the hanging circle to reach this platform with 1 coin.

After you cleared the two hanging circles from this point continue heading forward for the staircase on the broken bridge to find two enemies.

After defeating the two enemies, grab the climbable surface on the bridge inside the building and go to the other side to find two more enemies in parallel to the ones you just defeated.

Jumping down from the bridge in the middle of the building to find a maze at the bottom with a green fish.

Further along at the top of this room. Before you head to the circle hanging in the middle.
Jump out the window, turn around and go to the left to find 3 sneaky coins on the windowsill.

On the hanging circle in the middle are eight enemies.

Onward and upwards!
Next part is continued in The Garden.
The Garden

This area is a part of the Ruined Ruins, located at the top of it!
But I chose to separate these into two separate entries for easier tracking.

Upon reaching The Gardens, immediately head to the right and jump down under the water here to find 5 coins inside a hole in the wall.
Go back to the climbable wall in the picture.

Climb up the climbable wall to reach a lure.
From here you can find two blue fish that you need to use the lure on.
The lure respawns so use it twice to get both fishes.

After grabbing the lure, look the left to find a blue fish.

Looking away from the lure continue forward and head to the left to find another blue fish in the circular pond.

From the circular pond there is another hole in the wall under the water with 5 coins.

At the top of The Garden is a golden fish!
The Desert

Welcome to the Desert!
This is the entire game world.

From The Wheels of Fortune, look between The Ruined Ruins and The Drowned Towers to find three bomb birds in the desert. Each having a coin worth 5.

In front of The Ruined Ruins are three bomb birds. Each having a coin worth 5.

Looking from the Two Forts towards The Black Tower with the ropes you can spot a lonely bomb bird with a coin worth 5.

From The Mountainside Towers head in this direction towards The Black Tower to find three bomb birds guarding a hole in the ground that has one green fish. Each bomb bird of course has a coin worth 5.

The Door to The Black Tower
Congratulations on getting all the coins!
Now to head to the door to cash them in.

Look at The Black Tower and you will find a cave system to the left of it with a mysterious door that wants every coin to open!

And that is where I leave you off my Fyskari friends, for the rest of the journey is your own!
Good luck on the final climb, I know you can do it!

Yep that's exactly what happened, 2 fish were bugged thank god lol. Thank you for the response and the guide my g, had a good time with this game.
Emilio  [author] 11 Aug @ 8:49am
You'll need 10 more coins. I recommend quitting out and trying the trade in again incase 1 coin glitched out.
If that doesn't work then you do indeed miss 10 coins.
At which point run around to the different areas and see when the compass starts reacting then you'll know when to do a deeper search.
Doobiej 11 Aug @ 8:44am
i have 26 fish but only 686 coins (after trading all of fish in) do i need 1 more fish or just 10 more coins?
Emilio  [author] 10 Apr @ 2:59am
Thank you so much!
I am glad I was able to help! :happykitty:

this was such a great help, thank you so much for the guide!

Yep I forgot to mention that one, sorry! Glad you made it though!
yeahimthefishguy 12 Mar @ 8:20pm
Omg i just did it I didn't even think of doing helicopter jumps. Another piece of advice is to not swing across all of the grappling spots, just build a lot of momentum on the first one and hop onto the pillar
TheTraveler37 12 Mar @ 8:16pm
I have! Try doing helicopter stomp jumps on the black slopes, fly towards the ledge wall and try wallrunning on the left side of the wall heading left to grab the ledge. If you fall down, you can try hopping repeatably to stay off the ground and fall out of bounds to activate death warp back to the tower.
yeahimthefishguy 12 Mar @ 6:55pm
I got my scales but I want to try to get to the very very top of the dark tower and it's a total pain (you have to ascend the tower every time wtf!!) has anybody done it before?
