@yahway666 >> the only steam achievement to gain from difficulty is the survivor achievement to beat it on hard. everything else you can gain by playing the game on any difficulty. in fact most are easier on novice or easy when Ted ( as i like to call the alien ) isn't crawling up your asshole every five seconds. Thanks for the guide, easy to understand and use awesome stuff. I found a couple of logs that you missed. Sorry that the descriptions may be a bit vague, but most of them are relativley easy to find, I had a bit of trouble getting back to Baggage Claim, but that could be just me :)

In the room where you have to move some computer banks to power up your scanner for the first time, you can come back to that room later on (after the marshall's office level) and there is a woman there that you tell to go to the marshall's office, in return she gives you a code (archive log 149). In mission 16 where you cut the first panel as sson as you exit the vent there is a tape recording right in front of you (archive log 137). You can back track to the doctors office and grab archive log 41, and archive log 146 is in baggage claim. I found a couple of others just by wandering around while using your guide.

Once again awesome guide, all 151 logs and 50 tags acquired.

how many achievements care about difficulty setting? i beat the game on the hardest setting already and i'm not sure i want to deal with that again just to go achievement hunting

It's awesome, Best game I've played this year, absolutely fantastic tense atmosphere, missions 14 and 18 blow you away and it's probably the best Alien game ever.

HunterKiller, get it, trust me, it's worth it.
