How to fix: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition not saving

After years of only THINKING about trying Skyrim, I actually tried it once and liked the beginning and after saving and closing the game I had no bad thoughts.

Then I realized that the game did not really save anything and that my save game was never saved in any way.
Well, I actually fixed this today to play the game and wanted to share this simple fix.

My first thought was to give the game and the launcher admin rights and et voilà it worked.

In order to do this you need to go to your Steam Library -> The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition -> right click -> properties -> installed files -> browse.

Now give the game admin rights, right click SkyrimSE -> properties -> compatability -> check mark run program as admin -> click accept at the bottom right and close the window.

Now the game should save as intended.
