Have you ever noticed that the BAR uses the LMG/M249 reload? No? Now you have.

This changes the act_table for the bar to that of rifle_fal.

Yes this game still uses Insurgency animations and they don't fit a single weapon in thirdperson, you reload the G43 like an AK and the same goes for the Stens, hell, you even reload the Thompson like it's an M4 even pressing the bolt release.

Currently, there is no way to fix all the weapons as they all share the same animations and or some animations don't exist, a example being the bolt actions do not have a stripper clip animation so you lower your rifle, but you do load every individual round, can be fixed by making it use the garand animations but then you break the loading individual rounds.

I apologize ahead of time for not having footage of the change but please take my word for it, it's different.

THIS WILL CONFLICT WITH VIEWMODEL MODS! PLEASE BE AWARE AS THIS USES THE SAME METHOD THOSE USE TO EDIT THE VIEWMODEL!

PLEASE REMOVE ANY VIEWMODEL MODS OR ELSE YOU MAY NOT SEE THIS SMALL CHANGE!

unfortuantely, no, you can't, unless if the devs properly changes default theaters or hardcoded stuff, we can't really add new animations that fixes the weapons

Is it still possible to add missing animations though? As I stated in the description if you change the bolt animation to rifle_clip then you'll see the characters load the stripper clip but not single rounds, I'm no animator and have no idea what programs to even use but just slapping in the garand reload would be enough to fix the missing animation.

the only way for the player animations to be fixed is to entirely overhaul the animations itself, add more animations for it, and the change the vanilla theaters, i've looked into this early on, trying to make Germans run around one-hand with rifles and such, everything was just that unfinished sadly T^T
