An electric version of the Zodiac/Rescue boats.

Replaces outboard motor sounds with an electric soundset.

Tweaks the Zodiac making it more agile over water:

Tighter turning circle.

More responsive rudder control.

Covers every vanilla faction.
(BLUFOR, OPFOR, INDEPENDANT, CIVILIAN)

Additional support for all FIA Factions.
(BLUFOR, OPFOR, INDEPENDANT)

Additional support for all APEX Factions.

Zodiacs crewed by divers instead of soldiers.
(NATO, NATO PACIFIC, CSAT, CSAT PACIFIC, AAF)

New Classnames:

New Update:

Tweaked electric sound in idle state.
New classnames for all Zodiac/Rescue boats.
Added additional support for all FIA and APEX factions.
(This update creates the electric Zodiacs as their own asset within the Eden Editor)

Without having used Paddle mod I can't say for certain, but both Feint's mod and this both tweak rudder control so there might be some similarity in actual boat responsiveness.

Next update will give each boat there own classname so you should be able to use both mods at the same time as well as having the option of regular vanilla boats as per @leh2012's suggestion.

It is indeed a replacement but I'll take a look at creating it as a standalone in addition to the standard Zodiac.

Appreciate your suggestion but having first hand experience of using a fishing boat equipped with an electric outboard, this is actually pretty damn close to the actual sound experience on the water.
I personally disagree about similarity with the classic engine, the difference is vast imho, but it's all subjective I guess, I still appreciate your thoughts. ;-)

I got so confused by this mod! Does it actually replace original Zodiac so you can not create it in the editor anymore ? Or it something on my side?
If it is indeed a replacement, could you make it possible to still create old boat type for the variety's sake?

Just make the sound closer to a whine ;) problem with sound is that wind and water make the most of the noise so its hard to differentiate from the classic engines. Perhaps thing should become loud if going after certain speed? If you can -dB if speed is slower than 20 knots that would be awesome?
