1. Type "RegEdit" on your search bar (without the quotation marks, obviously);
2. Open "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE";
3. Open "SOFTWARE";
4. Locate and open the "EA Games" folder;
5. Open the Battlefield V folder;
6. At this point you should have some register entries on the right side, one of them is the "Install Dir", double click on it;
7. Now you just need to paste the path where your Battlefield V is installed, seems like the EA App is not able to map that directory for itself;
8. Close the Register Editor.

Now the game should launch normally.
POLISH
1. Wpisz "RegEdit" na pasku wyszukiwania (bez znaków cytatów, oczywiście);
2. Otwórz "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE";
3. Otwórz "SOFTWARE";
4. Zlokalizuj i otwórz folder "EA Games";
5. Otwórz folder Battlefield V;
6. W tym momencie powinieneś mieć kilka wpisów rejestru po prawej stronie, jednym z nich jest "Install Dir", kliknij dwukrotnie na nim;
7. Teraz musisz tylko wkleić ścieżkę, na której zainstalowany jest Battlefield V, wydaje się, że aplikacja EA nie jest w stanie samodzielnie mapować tego katalogu;
8. Zamknij edytor rejestru.

Teraz gra powinna uruchomić się normalnie.

Heya, Thanks a lot for the hint!
This alone did not solve it for me, but it gave me a hint.

To get my game running I had to add the path in two locations and also set the product guid in these two registry key locations:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA Games\Battlefield V
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\EA Games\Battlefield V
Also I had to set the path with a trailing slash, in my case this is:
D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Battlefield V\
Without the trailing slash it also did not work for me.
