I hadn't played this game in awhile and while it worked fine years ago, i booted it up and started a new game and the game was laggy af. I looked through the forums and saw this affected a very small minority of players.

Here is a quick guide to fix any lag problem that you might encounter. I used NVIDIA for this but it might be similar for other graphic cards.
