Buying your shell back fair and square from the ♥♥♥♥ shrimp

Maybe some of you are curious about one thing after finishing the game, completing it 100%, getting the achievements on steam etc...
What happens, if you hypothetically buy your shell from the Prawn Shop with 999,999,999 microplastics. Well I have your answer !

I grinded my ass off to get those microplastics to get the answer !(that's a lie, i just modified my saved file to give me the max amount, which is 1,000,000,000 btw) (you can find your own save file at C:\Users\(Your Users)\AppData\LocalLow\Aggro Crab\AnotherCrabsTreasure).

So after going in the game, and going to the Prawn Shop to buy that shell back fair and square, what happened was :
Nothing. I just got the shell equipped on my back as if i was buying it from the shop on Upper Crust. Funnily enough, it really did act like i was buying it from the shop on Upper Crust, because the Home shell ended up being insured (if you insure another shell though, you can't insure Home again).

But yeah, the game just keeps going like normal, nothing happens, and the ♥♥♥♥ shrimp still wears your shell (must've duplicated it with the power of money).

Hope this satisfied your curiosity, and who knows maybe the devs will make a DLC with funny interactions if you buy your shell early ?

I got 14065 plastic killing three enemies near the end of the game (second-to-last moonshell), and one cycle is like two minutes

I did have both a Fruit Sticker+ and a Fruit Sticker, so that increases the yield significantly.

the problem is that as far as i know the fastest way to get money is to clear out the den of digging worms which gets about 12000 plastic i think? might be remembering wrong, but that would take 84,000 runs killing all of them to get enough plastic to buy the shell, it takes more than 5 minutes to kill all of them, so minimum 6945 hours or 290 straight days of farming assuming you're starting from 0, which you might not be, but still I don't think anybody is getting the plastic naturally

there might be a faster way to make money with new game plus though? maybe multiple boss rushes?

@memdws3 asks: what did you do to edit your save file and what did you put in and where
In the directory i mentioned in the original post you will find 5 folders, named demo, Save1 to Save3 and Unity. You should click on the folder holding the save you want to modify (Save1 if its your first save etc..). Within that folder there's a .CRAB file, which you can open with notepad.
When you have done so, press ctrl+F and search for "wallet". a following statement appears before you :
"wallet\":{\"UmamiCrystals\":(a number),\"clips\":(a number)}
As you may have guess this is the variables holding the information of how many Umami Crystals you have, and how many "clips" or Microplastics you have ! So just modify that number that whatever you like, save the file (Ctrl+S) and close, open your game to witness your newfound wealth!

You very much can ! My statement however, was about the Home shell, which cannot be insured ! Within the gallery of shells, you are unable to select it to insure it after buying it ! The weird interaction which i explain happens is that there must be a line of code in the game which states "If player buys a shell : Insure it right now", which is what happens when you buy a shell from the regular shell shop, and what happens with the Home shell. However since the devs didnt plan on players buying the shell, its not selectable in the shell gallery menu to reinsure it !

As far as i know, if i put a number higher than 1 billion, id only get 1 billion in game, i may be wrong however. Regardless, i don't believe that information is very important given the highest item to buy is 999,999,999 ;)

I expected the game to roll the credits and give a hidden ending for this xD
