Then there's gonna be cases where they try doing stuff, fail, and backpedal back to normal status.
The end result is that either they win or nothing bad happens to them.
This incentives them to keep doing things like this.

I already cancelled my PlayStation Plus account. Rarely used it anyway so it will save me some money and deny it to Sony. I was going to buy a PS5 in June, but I decided I won't now. I will also be wary and not buy any future games linked to Sony for any of our PCs. When they drop support for the PS4 or it dies then I will be done with Sony.
