Step 1: Choose a HUD

Before you begin, you'll need to select a custom HUD that suits your preferences. There are numerous HUDs available, each offering unique designs and features. Popular choices include:

Step 2: Download the HUD

Once you've chosen a HUD, head to its download page. Most HUDs can be found on community websites like:

Step 3: Extract the Files and Install the HUD

After downloading the ZIP file, extract its contents to a location on your computer. You should find a folder containing various files and folders related to the HUD.

Next, navigate to your TF2 game directory. This is typically located in the "steam/steamapps/common/Team Fortress 2/tf" folder. Inside the "tf" folder, you'll find several subfolders, including one named "custom." If the "custom" folder doesn't exist, you can create it manually.

Step 4: Copy HUD Files

Open the extracted folder containing the HUD files. You should see a folder with the HUD's name (e.g., "rayshud-master" or "ToonHUD"). Copy this folder and paste it into the "custom" folder within your TF2 directory.
