How to Keep Your Car (Despite being told not to)

When the man says "Put your car in the garage," you instantly know he is completely insane, as you don't even need to put your car in the garage.

In the chapter Highway 17, just after defeating the gunship on the bridge and the zombies in the tunnel, you will come across a small village with a lighthouse. To get there, just drive on the road after exiting the tunnel.
Not Listening
The insane man will tell you to park in the garage. Nod your head and say "No!" as you proceed to piss him off.

Notice the useless junk around you.


Next, park your car half way in the garage. Leave the rear wheels out of the garage.


After you do that, the pissed off man will continue telling you to put your car in the garage after you already did. Ignore him and pull out the Gravity Gun.

Use the gravity gun to move the useless junk around you under the opening in the garage, next to the car. I recommend you stack two pieces of junk so the pissed off man can't lock your car in the garage.


Once you have managed to get the junk pile set up, get in your car. SLOWLY inch forward until he says something other than "Put your car in the garage."


When he shuts up, you can back out of the garage. The junk pile will collide with your car. If you get stuck, use the turbo to get out.
Combine Killing Spree
After you have successfully gotten your car out, you can run over combine as much as you want.

you can keep the thing up till the mountain side leading to nova prospect. ive done it almost to there i seen a youtube video on how to gravity gun your whip on the mountain side, then use stuff to climb on i believe it was so you drive to the next area, and yes it works ive done it , but its hard to do it.

you aren't intended to take the buggy past the lighthouse, so yeah you can see the combine take the buggy, even though you still have the buggy.

The buggy model the dropship carries doesn't look like it has wheel physics, so I think it's just a separate buggy entity used for that scene.

Here is a humorous bug I found. If you abandon your car and walk over to where you're supposed to go, that citizen will just continuously shout "HEY OVER HERE!"

I found if you park your car up the road and walk into the camp he doesnt mention anything about it and the game goes straight into the gunships coming part so all the messing around with the garage door is pointless
