  • Having more than 1 house dose nothing for the Yard Except When Growing Plants

  • The Back Yard size seem to do nothing Except When Growing Plants!

  • Having more than one house on a Crafting yard traps the family there!

  • Space Management: it is best to make smallest 1 house lots, with smallest back yard, unless you are growing some kind of plant.

  • Making a 2 house spot saves a little room on the side but you lose that space by having a bigger back yard that dose nothing.

  • You should always try to make a back yard, it cost a little bit to build something on it, but it will pay for it self in the long run.
Play how ever you want, Have Fun, in the long run it won't make too much of differences.

  • Not fully tested but looking like 21 Leathers for max?

  • Leather is made at a Tannery from hides. hides are from Hunters and Goats


    21 might be the max any backyard crafter can make atm?

  • 1 house with smallest yard is the best
  • Don't use 2 house they will be locked in as Fletcher but won't make it any faster.
  • 21 Planks a month was max i got them to use (with storage next-door )

  • you need a lot of goat sheds (over 18) if you want to max out tanner

They Plant seeds only once, Wait to Grow, then Harvest!
The Main Family members only work on it during their free time.
The Longer they are away from their home the less they will farm.

They Harvest 7 Months a Year

The rest of the time is Growing, Resting, and Planting if needed

  • A small 2 house area with 1 house.
    About 5 time Longer, more than that is a waste.

     
  • A small 2 house area with 2 houses.
    About 6 or 7 time Longer, more than that is a waste.

  • Long strips of veggies looks nice but has a long walking time back to house.
    Might want to put small yards in between them to shorten the length.
    (can also cause a bug - unusable patches )

  • Red - Forester's Hut size
    The dirt patches around yards are un-built Forester's Hut

  • Orange - bug - extra long gardens can have Unusable patches!
    They wont plant seeds in this area!

  • Yellow - Two small 1 house area's with small backyards
    (In most cases) all non plant growing yards should be like this.

  • Green - Near ideal veggie yard size and placement.
    (Just my opinion) hills, other building placements, wanting to get a certain look, and unknown factors could others better.

yes it uses Leather
you need a Leather Tannery to turn the hides into leather

yes, I believe the 4x4 backyard size (+ a small space for the 2 homes) works the best.

yes, non stop if they have nothing else to do.

for the Fletcher shop, do you have any idea on the best amount of planks to have in stock for it to produce bows? (it is planks they use right)

Hi, thank you for this. Are you saying the 4x4 is ideal for veggies? The non stop part makes me think the family will only be able to tend veggies while not doing any other work.

ouch took 5 hours.. ran in to some new bugs had to started over a few times and re did some of the testing with more accurate sizes.
