1956 Citroen DS 19

I may have forgot the side windows in the first two images. I plead the 'Oopsy woopsy' defence.

By the 50's, the Citroen Traction Avant was starting to look a lil' out-dated (though it hid it well), so Citroen started work on a replacement. Of course, Citroen being Citroen, they decided to make what would soon to be known as the second most influential car of all time, according to some "most influential car of the decade" article. The DS would be released in late 1955, and literately everybody wanted one. Over 12,000 orders for the car were placed on the first day it was shown alone, a number that would not be surpassed until 2016 with the Tesla Model 3's release. It came equipped with more features then I could be bothered to list, all of which were super innovative for the time. I mean, honestly, just compare this to literately any other car of the time, it was just... Ahead of it's time. It also made a cameo in 'Back to the Future,' so that was neat.
