Description
NATO positions on Stratis are under attack. Use the MH-360M Cougar helicopter and help evacuate valuable materials aboard US Navy ships.
CSAT lands on Stratis! NATO forward positions must be abandoned and defense concentrated on the air base. Help ground forces evacuate valuable equipment and destroy CSAT forces trying to capture outposts.

Your main task in this mission will be to transfer materials to two US Navy destroyers using the MH-360M Cougar helicopter. At the same time, you need to provide fire support to the forces defending the outposts and deliver additional defenders from the QRF forces if necessary.

Please note that this mission was created largely with co-op gameplay in mind. For a single player it is fully playable but can be overwhelming with several things demanding your attention at once.


REACTION FORCES CDLC IS REQUIRED FOR THIS SCENARIO.



Procedural generation is used in the mission to make it fresh and interesting on every playthrough.

From where cargo will need to be taken, CSAT attack routes as well as time of day and other minor things are subject to randomization.



COOP mode is available for up to 8 players.

This mission takes between 30 - 45 minutes to complete.

White Rabbit I have no intrest making that a reality but you have the same acces to Eden editor as me. If you want that to happen I sincerely suggest creating such mission yourself. :]

Something like this would be cool using RHS mods instead, like using one of the UH-60 black hawks in Chernarus or Takistan.

I guess I was unlucky with the CIWS. And yeah, of course reloading the last save is always an option, just thought I'd suggest as iirc you have a similar feature in some of your other flying scenarios (talking about being able to be brought back to base and getting a new aircraft). As for the copilot, yeah, it was just a suggestion, but all good.

Sorry if I came off as demanding. The mission was great fun and very well done ;)

JPAB97S | Kiosk Thanks as for your feedback:

1. I have play tested this mission hella lot and not ONCE have I been shot down or even hit by any of the ship's weaponry.
2. I mean if you know, your helicopter is damaged beyond repair reload last save? Seems like you can resolve that by yourself. In case you are unable to protect the outpost they gonna be overrun and mission will end. There is game ending event for you right there.
3. First of all, in the end gunner is not mission critical. Second of all solution is once again reload the last save if you really need him. This mission auto saves every time you do anything useful (drop QRF, deliver cargo etc.) so just use saves. That is why they are there.

Great mission as always. Felt like a mini version of the official Air Control scenario, but much more fast-paced. Some feedback...

1. The AA weapons on the ships are a friendly fire menace, I suggest turning the ships 90 degrees so the weapons are still effective against enemy helicopters, but the heli deck is not the way. I managed to get shot down by the CIWS while dropping cargo, and crash landed on the deck, which brings me to my second point.
2. Some sort of event in case of successful crash land, either mission fail or option for recovery, get a new chopper, etc. I used Zeus to repair the heli.
3. Getting a new gunner back at the airbase in case he gets killed would be useful

Axle Yeah, like I said above. Mission is playable in SP it's just that when play testing I had instances where I was stuck in loop of barely pushing back CSAT forces and running for reinforcements.
I did reduce enemy spawn rate after that for SP but I just wanted to be on the safe side and warn everybody that it can be a hustle to complete. :D
