Introduction

After 64 bit update you might noticed that if you will launch valve hammer, and try to run your map it won't work. That's because valve hammer is looking for "hl2.exe" and you need to change it to "tf_win64.exe".

So let's get started

Step 1

Open valve hammer, and go to Tools

Step 2

Click on Options

Step 3

In Configure Hammer click on tab Build Programs and then under Game Executable click Browse

Step 4

And then choose "tf_win64.exe"

I was looking for... maybe about five hours??? trying to get a solution to this problem. eventually just gave up on hammer editor. i was going to play another game about an hour later and saw a mysterious tutorial in my chrome tabs. thought i had nothing left to lose, so i followed the tutorial and IT WORKED. THANK YOU SO MUCH DUDE THIS TUTORIAL RANDOMLY APPEARING IN A CHROME TAB WAS A BLESSING FROM GOD HOLY SHIT YOU ARE THE BEST HUMAN EVER BORN
