It's good having both styles. I only use the drawings cause it gives me more immersion in games, but I know a lot of grognards are fanatical about those serious looking nato symbols. I also play Southern Storm which uses a mix of both vehicle silhouettes and nato symbols which I think makes all infantry use nato while all vehicles are silhouettes.
