Beskrivelse
Short Description
QRF (Quick Reaction Force) squad Delta 1 is deployed on Altis. You are their Drone operator equipped with RC-40 scouting and explosive drone. Use them to support your squad and achieve your tasks.

Features
  • Operate the new RC-40 drones
  • Spot targets with the scouting variant
  • Eliminate threats with the HE variant
  • Use the MMG on the pickup for direct fire (optional)
  • Use the pickup with a snorkel for fording deeper water

Ingame Briefing
Situation
In light of the recent insurgent activity NATO forces deployed Delta Company, a QRF, to the island of Altis to support the AAF in their counterinsurgency operations. Delta 1 has been assigned to stand by for tasking north of Telos. Delta 2 has set up overwatch east of Telos. An AAF squad is set up in a nearby combat outpost (COP).

Mission
Stand by for tasking to support the AAF.

Execution
Await orders.

Signal
Delta 1 - QRF squad north of Telos
Delta 2 - QRF squad west of Telos
COP Hemlock - AAF combat outpost
Crossroads - HQ


Author’s Notes
You can let your AI driver drive you to the first task, but after that it won’t work anymore for some reason.
Best to navigate the pickup driver through the COP by hand.
Towing the truck can be tricky, especially if it is stuck and you pull hard it may fling into you destroying the pickup. Be gentle.

@mason77 there is only one rope in the pickup next to the squad lead, you can take it via a holdaction :)

Not sure why but i cannot take the rope from the pickup. I can take it from another one but the task does not complete. Weird issue, maybe something on my end.

I managed to inst(all properly the DLC. This is the first scenario with this DLC I played. Salvaging a truck is of no interest. Second, the drones are useless as it seems they do not explode so the mission is ended. I also tried to start the kind of campaing that is attached to the DLC. All these non military bullshit tasks show that BI is really out of clue ... What next ? Helping to cuddle transgender people. All BI DLCs went astray with Old Man; after it became worse ! Nothing compares with the East Wind campaing ...

@Hans(z) noo that's not what I am implying ':D though the mortar has a random spawn position so I can't really reproduce. Everytime I tried it worked first time :steamsad:

One can say it's skill issue, but belive me, it's not :steammocking: !
I completed the mortar task after multiple save reloads, because I ran out of HE drones, despite I landed right next to the mortar and after that I did the detonation.
Other than this little problem, mission is very nicely done! :steamthumbsup:

Hm, interesting, the tall grass shouldn't block the damage, its just a visual model
