Staff of Mithrandir

This is an everlasting lightstaff, based on a staff of Mithrandir, Gandalf the Grey, from Lord of the Rings. It can be used like a torch and at the same time it works like a shield. As magical staffs work differently in Middleearth and Tamriel, I found this to be the best compromise.

You can find it under a Gildergreen tree in Whiterun

Install: Unzip the zip file and copy the meshes, textures and esp to your Skyrim Data folder. Confirm when asked to overwrite (nothing will be overwritten though, this is all new stuff) or to be integrated.

Permissions:

If anyone wishes to reuse model in a different mod (e.g. convert it into a proper magical staff), you're welcome to do so. On request I can provide original 3dsmax and photoshop files.

found it for got it was a light not a weapon sorry , had it where it was not supose to be at. thanks for the help.

I think it's supposed to respawn after 10 days, but I never tested it. Why can't you get it working through console? Did you get 8-character (numbers and letters) ID by typing help mithrandir? Also, it seems a lot of peple look for the staff under weapon category, but as it is a light source it will be found under misc....

It ought to respawn, but you can add it to you inventory by typing 'help mithrandir' into console (no quotations) and after that 'player.additem <ID returned by help command> 1'
