how the container and inventory components work, your game will always show what the client thinks happened first, and then the server will update the client’s information; on an older server that’s more lived in, you will naturally have more lag and what not, so that makes sense. How is your general performance CPU wise on your older server?
Tested on new server with just this mod and with all the same mods, worked fine, but original server chests has a delay for some reason, so what is happening on original server:
- I shift- click - inventory updates (with incorrect numbers first, but then quickly gets correct number) => chest slot shows empty slot as if I took out whole stack (which I didn't) => delay ~2 seconds => then it updates chest slot with correct number.
During that ~2s delay I can't interract with chest slot anymore.
_____
Could that be because of amount of chests around or amount of loot inside?
I do see the use of having a configuration; as you pointed out, some people with 10,000+ items in a stack might actually appreciate being able to separate one "normal" stack out at a time, I do see the utility behind it.
I will also note, when I was replicating your issues, I did see it caused an infinite loop, which also ate up all my RAM, so I get it lol, no worries
