Civilization V: Next War

Description
IMPORTANT: Because of some major problems I had both with Steam and my computer, this mod will NOT be updated anymore. I'll publish a more complete version when I'll feel it's close enough to completion.

This mod allows the player to experience the future by adding new Technologies, Units, Buildings and Wonders.

Features:

- 25 Futuristic Technologies;
- 17 New Units;
- 22 Advanced Buildings;
- 8 National Wonders;
- 2 World Wonders.

Planned Content:

- New Civilizations;
- More Wonders;
- A Scenario.

Known Issues:

- Text keys are weird, I know. I entered simple things and didn't fix them before releasing on the workshop. Important informations are written, so there shouldn't be any issues until I fix them.
- Icons are all looking the same. I'm far too bad at drawing to create icons that will blend into the game and look like they belong there. I do plan on changing them in the future.
- Units models are all looking the same. This would prove easier to fix than the icons if I could find a way to import 3D models into the game. Call me a noob if you must, but if you can help me about that, don't hesitate to contact me.
- Victories haven't been rebalanced to fit with the longer Tech Tree. If you want to fully explore the mod, the best way is to disable all victories.
- The mod doesn't seem to download correctly. Check just below for the fix.

IMPORTANT:

You will most likely have some problems downloading this mod. For some reason, the Steam Workshop doesn't feel like it's important to work correctly, and at such doesn't unpack the mod correctly. Here's a way to bypass this capricious behavior:

1) Subscribe.
2) Start your Sid Meier's Civilization V game.
3) Go in your MODS and wait for the game to "download" the mod. It won't appear in the list afterward, but it's normal.
4) Find your mods in your documents. Usually, it is located at Documents > My Games > Sid Meier's Civilization V > MODS.
5) You should have an empty folder named "Civilization V Next War" and a file named "Civilization V Next War (v1).civ5mod". Drag the document on the empty folder.
6) If everything was done correctly, there should be a folder named "2a2f844d-0191-41ca-80ef-3fba2ec509dd (v 1)". Here's your mod. It should now appear in your mods list, named "Civilization V: Next War".

Helping:

If you want to help with the mod, we've got some room for more people in the team. If you can draw icons for the buildings and unit or if you can create 3D models for the units and want to help, contact me.

You can also help simply by playing with the mod and leaving your feedback in the discussion created for that purpose.

Compatibility:

This mod requires both Gods and Kings and Brave New World to work. It is incompatible with most mods that alter the Technology Tree.

Miscellaneous:

To keep the Comments section for comments, I'd appreciate if you could ask your questions and leave your feedback using the discussions that were created for these purposes.

This mod is a tribute to the "Next War" mod for Civilization IV, which was made by Firaxis and added as a free mod and scenario when buying Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword.

I subscribed and did the things you said in the 6-step plan, but all I had was the empty folder. Nothing else.

Has good concept, overshadowed by 'Future Worlds' mod.
Have to ask though, where did you find the thumbnail? It looks amazing.
