To answer the question, check the locomotive parts in the main menu while editing the locomotive and find something that says "Boards" or "Numberboards." If its not in there check lights because some trains numberboards are in the light effect section, also if you want the numberboards to stay the same, you got to add the "new" texture on both "ON" and "OFF" or else when the Numberboards is off, it will still say "TEST" but when its on it does say the number or the other way around.

WOW, I don't remember how I managed to do it, but it did take me a few hours to figure it out. I'll try to emulate the problem again, but you'll have to give me time. Try changing the material type to "unlit"

how did you add numbers on the number boards? because when i tried, the texture appeared the same as it was before i changed it. so i had to leave it saying "test".

Thank you! But the hard work was done by the modeler "EmDoggo" his work of art made it possible for me to give you the painting of the Rio Grande! The Rolling Line community is great. My second H0 scale locomotive was precisely a GP40-2 of the Rio Grande, from the Athearn brand "the famous blue box", that was around 1994/95, since then the Rio Grande has been one of my favorite RRs.
