When you’re outgunned in APB, changing equipment can take you out of the action for a good 20 seconds, all the while leaving you vulnerable to the enemy. Also, situations change so quickly, that often by the time you have switched weapons, the objective has changed  too. 
Changing kits needs to be faster and easier in order to encourage tactical response. The feature I am proposing will encourage players to swap out their weapons and in turn should lead to more interesting battles.

Once your inevatable death has occured, the respawn screen is shown. Here, I can press “I” to access the inventory screen, and change to a more suitable loadout.
Within no time I am back on the battlefield, am better suited to respond to the threat and didn’t get killed in the process.

To enhance on this, It would be useful to have preset kits that you can access at the click of a button. The kits could be defined by the user in another menu much like other popular games such as Battlefield or Call of Duty.

Alongside teamwork, Having the right gun and being in the right place is a crucial element of the game. Being able to respond quickly to changing events often means the difference between victory or defeat and the current mechanism for changing weapons is slow, in-accesible and ultimately discourages the player from doing so altogether.
