The backstory we know is that Riely (The player character) was an engineer on the Aurora, the Aurora was gonna make a Phase gate in the section that the planet you land on is in

The spawn point will change every game, but the process is mostly the same
The game will greet you with your pod on fire, once all the tutorial stuff is done go to the medkit fabricator after you will need to open the container in the lifepod, its red so its hard to miss
once you get out either though the top or bottom, the game will tell you to break a limestone node
they have a pretty simple bucket, if you get copper the next node will give titanium, and if you get titanium next node will give copper.
Next you will need to look for one of these, they are called scrap, they will give 4 titanium
next you need to find one of these forests of kelp
and these kelp "trees" will give the seed clusters
znow you will need to return to the lifepod, your invintory should look something like this
