Immersive Unit Reskin

描述
Hi All!

This mod aims to make unit visuals more varied, authentic and fun to look at.

Key goals are:
-Match unit visuals with ingame armor value
-Add more much needed variety of equipment, since most units have only 2-3 different armors and helmets
-Make units look a bit more "authentic". I won't claim the are fully historically accurate but period and often a bit fantasy looking models from CA require some more creative freedom.

Mod will be constantly updated, with a goal of eventually tweaking all units in the game.

@kam2150 there is not much mods for this game but your reskin is a must have. Otherwise all these naked crotch flap guys are so boring lol...

Yes, that is the plan :) Granted, my work pace will be a bit slow at first as I am working on my Rome 2 stuff for Divide et Impera, so that one has priority now.

Yup, seems it will be like a separate game.

For me its a no brainer and I will switch to that but I will release remaining bodyguard for this version eventually, just not sure if anyone will be even playing it.

dynasties update is seperate, and it requires new assembly kit

Yes, they will be done in next few weeks. I am just a bit swamped on my finishing my changes for next DeI mod update so I want to wrap that one up.

Hey I just want to say I really enjoy your mod but I was also wondering is there any news on the rest of the bodyguard reskins?

No, because units that do have 2H weapon and shields, already have them from ability.
Adding shields to the backs of 2H units that dont have them now would require changing their stats as well nds be rather unauthentic as its somehing that was not used overall in any age.
