Descripción
Volumetric Lights for base-game content

This addon utilizes the Draconic Base's basic volume light function to add simulated light volumes to a variety of base-game content from Half-Life: 2, Half-Life: Source, and Portal 1. This includes:
  • Combine Elites
  • The Combine hunter chopper
  • Manhacks
  • Combine turrets
  • Combine cameras
  • Half-Life: Source security turrets
  • Gargantua
  • Portal turrets
  • Portal's camera

Convars
  • cl_lightvolumes_cameras -- Combine & Portal 1 cameras
  • cl_lightvolumes_elites -- Combine Elites
  • cl_lightvolumes_halflifeone -- Half-Life: Source NPCs
  • cl_lightvolumes_hunterchopper -- Combine Helicopter
  • cl_lightvolumes_manhacks -- Self explanatory
  • cl_lightvolumes_turrets -- Combine turrets
  • cl_lightvolumes_turrets_portal -- Portal 1 turrets.

These "lights" are dynamic in that they will dim while in brighter areas, and become more obvious in darker spaces.

It'd be possible to fake it in hl2 by putting sprites directly on the models, but not a real coded system like this one is. But that workaround would require a lot of materials (a few hundred just for the combine helicopter), and likely be very taxing on the renderer as a result.

well so now it doesnt say non about Dlib now it looks like this

ok so only addon that needed Dlib was boreal alyph hud lemme boot up the game and see
