In this guide, you will find informations about the achievements in Subnautica. They will be divided in 2 categories : story related, and non story related. The story related ones for sure contain spoilers.

This achievement is pretty straightforward. This likely is the first one you will get. To obtain it, exit your lifepod by the bottom or upper exit and dive into the water, there you have it.

No, you don't need to find a dog. To get this one, find a Cuddlefish egg(s), put it(them) in a alien containment facility, or in other words, a big aquarium, and wait for it to hatch. When hatched, take it to the outside world and free him, there you go.

To get this one, you will need to construct a base, more precisely a compartment or room with a hatch attached to it. To do so, craft the habitat builder (a wiring kit, a battery, a computer chip), go in the ocean where you want to build your habitat, select a compartment or a room, and build it. Then attach a hatch to it, that easy.

In order to have this one, you are going to have to craft a Seamoth, a vehicle. Now, you will also need to scan the 3 fragments of the Seamoth for you to craft it, but that's not all. You will need a Mobile Vehicle Bay, which requires 3 parts too. Once you have scanned them, get all the elements to craft the Seamoth and you are all set.

We are getting into a bit spoiling at this point and onward so beware. Now let's craft a Prawn suit. Assuming you already crafted the Mobile Vehicle Bay and the Seamoth (if not, go check the previous achievement), it's going to be the same process for the Prawn. This time around they're 4 parts to scan, that are in the Aurora. Once found, gather all the resources needed to build it and go for it.

Alright, this one is a bit tricky. You will need to find 9 parts, each divided in 3 groups of 3 parts. The parts, which the engine, the bridge and hull, can be found in various places across the map, but I will let you explore the world to find them. When all scanned, go in the Mobile Vehicle Bay, and see how much that thing costs. When you're all done gathering everything, craft it.

We're entering big spoiling area!

The first story element you might encounter. To have the achievement, you need to the Floating Island, at the south/southwest of the map. When there, climb one of the two hills, and enter the base.

This one can be hard to get, considering the entrance to where you need to go can be annoying to find. You need to search for big holes with small purple glowy mushrooms in the red grass biome, called the Grassy Plateaus. Once found, go in them and you should be inside an enormous cave system, beware there are predators. Wander a bit in the biome and you should find a big abandoned base.

Alright get the Seamoth depth module MKII for this one, because we're about to go at 500 meters. Go in the same direction you went for the Floating Island but this time stay close to the ocean floor, you should find yourself in a biome with big blue balls, literally. Just search for holes in the ground that leads you to a bigger cave system with a kind of green foggy atmosphere. GO far in here, and there you find the base.

For this one you will need to repair the breaches in the Aurora's drive core. To do so, go inside the Aurora and where there's a sign that indicates 'Engine Room", and go inside. Now just take the repair tool and fix all the breaches.

We are starting to go into the deep lore. There is an island called Mountain Island at the north/northeast of the map. Go here and explore a little bit, and you're face to face with a structure, find the right key to enter it and have the achievement.

Go deep, very deep in the ocean, where the freezing temperatures let deadly creatures chase you. A green acidic pool is on the ocean floor, congrats you're in the lost river. For this one I will just tell you get lost in the biome and find randomly the structure in it.

Going from freezing temps to hot ones. Go in the Inactive Lava Zone, and you should see a giant obsidian, black natural formation. Go in it, navigate through the creatures and tunnels, and seek for a big chamber with an alien structure in its middle.

Go deeper, deeper I said. Where the temparatures reach 70 degrees Celsiu, with a big lava pool and Dragon awaiting for you. The structure cannot be missed in there.

You need to cure the infection. To do so hatch the egg of the Sea Emperor Leviathan with the hatching enzymes, crafted with various sealants across the ocean. Then interact with the beige balls that the babies vomit.

You will to build the several parts of the rocket, the scheme can be found the captain headquarters in the Aurora. When done, go in the cockpit, and interact with the time capsule, and choose a screenshot you took by pressing F11, items, and a text.
