Welcome Helldivers!

Are you participating in eradication missions? Then don't forget to do your part and pick up all of the common samples located on each of the maps!
Note that these samples always spawn in the same locations every time.
With eradication missions being one of the shortest mission types, you will be swimming in common samples in no time! Good luck!

Note: 8 are located in a cluster right next to the pad; no reason not to pick these up every round!

Bing Chilling, there is a bug with the radar that constantly shows the "diamond" icon in places without resources, so it can confuse players

@Etshy You are correct. The spawn locations within POIs don't change but the amount that appear will vary.

I'm not sure spawn location on POI or base, change depending on the difficulty. I play different difficulty, from 5 to 7, on similar nest and POI and noticed a few common location. samples are not always present but they can.
But yeah could ba another guide

@Etshy That would require a separate guide; there are too many variations to list. Spawns within bases and POIs also vary with difficulty and mission length. For non-base POIs, note how they look on the minimap and where samples spawn within them. Also, POI icons on the minimap change from a diamond to a pin after all samples have been collected.

is there map for the different kind of bug nest, automaton base and POI ? I never managed to get all the sample on th empa despite visiting all POI

u should tell peeps to just collect them at the end when nothing else is spawning and not just hop into the ship
