As for inventory reloading, you'd do it to instantly bypass any time spent standing still in combat to reload so that you always have a full weapon in a fight. Ideally, you do it during invincible context-sensitive actions like melees and ladders since you can't really do anything else in that time anyway, and it's completely safe. I'm pretty sure that was covered in the video, but the benefit should be pretty obvious.
I covered how to do it with a controller in the video. You use the "move" command (shortcut button X or []) to select your ammo and then highlight the appropriate gun and push the button again. For K&M, you'd either substitute F for X or [], or click-drag ammo into the gun to accomplish the same thing.
Prerequisite knowledge. Define prerequisite knowledge. Completed chapter 1? Completed campaign in s rank? Unlock few chapters in mercenaries? (i believe, this guide is suitable for people trying to achieve higher rank in mercenaries no mercy. campaign is too easy to justify learning inventory reload.)
Problem statement. Why would anyone want to do 'inventory reload'? what is the tangible benefits of inventory reload over conventional reload?
Methodology. How do you do inventory reload? with gamepad. with keyboard.
It definitely demands prerequisite knowledge of how to play the game. Educating the bare basic fundamentals was not my intention.
