My Farming List
By Teknikah
This is my list of go-to locations for farming for endeavours/achievements/etc. As well as some little tips that I find useful.

Depending on what it is, it might bring more traffic into the area and make it more difficult to complete endeavours/achievements if more people are aware of better locations. But it's nice to take advantage of some good spots when you can.

I will keep editing and updating this when I find new locations.

🐝 Torchbugs (for fishing bait and/or thorax ingredient)
Water Dancer Falls, Reaper's March
(Base Game)
I found a spot in Reaper's March that has quite a few torchbugs flying around.
The area has a lot of nereids and a world boss as well though.

NE Bleakrock Isle
(Base Game)
I found some more torchbugs in good numbers around the North East area of Blackrock Isle.
Around the areas of Frostedge Camp and Skyshroud Barrow. Mainly around trees it seems.

Edrald Estate and Fell's Run, Rivenspire
(Base Game)
These 2 areas seem to have lots of torchbugs dotted all over the place.

Fallen Grotto, Bangkorai
(Base Game)
There's a good amount of torchbugs here. It will also be a peaceful, uninterrupted collection if you have completed the quest here as the wildlife will be passive.
🦋 Butterflies (for fishing bait and/or wings ingredient)
Artaeum
(🔒DLC - Summerset Chapter)
I found that Artaeum seems to have quite a few butterflies dotted all around the area.

Fallen Grotto, Bangkorai
(Base Game)
There's a good amount of butterflies here. It will also be a peaceful, uninterrupted collection if you have completed the quest here as the wildlife will be passive.
🦀 Mudcrabs (for chitin ingredient)
Western Skyrim
(🔒DLC - Greymoor Chapter)
I found that the waterways of Western Skyrim seem to be decent for finding mudcrabs. I was wandering around the middle of the map along the river and marshes and found a good handful of them in groups of 3 at a time.
🐑 Livestock Animals (for achievement)
Voljar's Meadery, Eastmarch
(Base Game)
Around Voljar's Meadery in Eastmarch there's a bunch of chickens around 2 "enclosures"
✅ No NPCs watching them.

Paths around Temple of the Morning Springs, Kenarthi's Roost
(Base Game)
Follow the paths around the West of the Temple of the Morning Springs in Kenarthi's Roost. There's a lot of sheep around here.
⚠️ NPCs watching them.

Around Goat's Head Oasis Wayshrine, Alik'r Desert
(Base Game)
There are lots of goats around the Goat's Head Oasis Wayshrine in Alik'r Desert. This is the wayshrine to Tu'whacca's Throne.
✅ No NPCs watching them.
🌹 Resource Nodes (for achievement/endeavour/etc)
I do recommend using the addon HarvestMap to tag all nodes you collect and find areas that work for you.

Summerset
(🔒DLC - Summerset Chapter)
Along the path and surrounding area East of Sunhold in Summerset.

Bal Foyen
(Base Game)
The whole area of Bal Foyen is a very popular spot for resource node harvesting.

Artaeum
(🔒DLC - Summerset Chapter)
Artaeum also seems to have a lot of resources around.
This area also seems popular, as when I was trying to collect there were lots of other players here collecting as well.
👾 Atronachs (for achievement/endeavour/etc)
Willowgrove, Reaper's March
(Base Game)
You can find fire, frost, and storm atronachs South of Willowgrove in Reaper's March.

Rubble Butte, Bangkorai
(Base Game)
By no means overrun, but there is a decent amount of storm atronachs here if you need that particular variant.
⚔️ Public Dungeon Event (for endeavour)
Lost City of the Na-Totambu, Alik'r Desert
(Base Game)
There is a public dungeon boss that you can get to respawn very quickly in the Lost City of the Na-Totambu in the Alik'r Desert.

As you follow the dungeon out into the open ruins, it's the platform on the far West side.

You need to stand on the pairs of pressure plates in a particular order to spawn them.
You can do this solo, just walk to both plates. The light will disappear when you match the right one.

Order:
  1. 🪲 Scarab
  2. 🕷️ Spider
  3. 🦂 Scorpion
🌍 Kill World Bosses (for endeavour)
Rootwater Spring & Reconnaissance Camp, Greenshade
(Base Game)
These 2 world bosses are really close together, so you can run from one to the other to get your count up quicker.
There are 3 enemies to kill at both sites.
At Rootwater Spring, there are quite a few 🦋 butterflies you can collect to pass the time.
At Reconnaissance Camp, there is a 🎣 fishing hole you can use to pass the time.
☠️ Dangerous Foes (for endeavour)
Celestial Rifts, Craglorn
(Base Game)
If you have an endeavour to kill a high number of "dangerous foes" I would recommend going to Craglorn and activating Celestial Rifts if you can. Take some friends with you if you need.
👻 Kill Ghosts/Skeletons (for endeavour)
Ezduiin, Auridon (👻)
(Base Game)
You'll come across a number of Ayleid ruins that will be infested with either ghosts or skeletons.
One of these that I remember is Ezduiin (ghosts).

Pelin Graveyard, Bangkorai (💀)
(Base Game)
Areas that are marked as graveyards tend to be populated with skeletons. Sometimes they will also have necromancers and other cultists though which won't count.
👽 Kill Daedra
Dolmens, Daggerfall Covenant / Ebonheart Pact / Aldmeri Dominion
(Base Game)
Obviously.

Damar Farmstead, Bangkorai
(Base Game)
This area has quite a few daedroth and banekin.

Norvulk Ruins, Stormhaven
(Base Game)
This delve is entirely populated with humanoid daedra.
🎁 Chests
Public Dungeon, Any
I have found from exploration and cataloguing with HarvestMap, that most public dungeons should have a really good amount of chests dotted around.
You will have varying luck in finding them depending on how many other players are in there at the same time as you.

Endeavour, Loot Chests
If you have an endeavour to loot chests, safeboxes count to this.
🏅 Leveling Companions
(🔒DLC - Blackwood / High Isle / Necrom Chapters)

Remember to upgrade their levels with the Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, and Undaunted.

Dolmens
During a XP boost event, I took Sharp-As-Night to a multitude of dolmens in base game locations to level him up. I managed to finish his last level fairly quickly.

XP Scrolls
XP scrolls do seem to increase XP gained by companions as well.
🪑 Small Tip for "Place Furnishings" (for endeavour)
If you don't have the amount of furnishings/space/patience/etc needed for this endeavour, you can complete this by placing 1 furnishing then pressing "undo" and "redo" repeatedly until you hit the target.
💰 Small Tip for Finding Heavy Sacks
(🔒DLC - Blackwood / High Isle / Necrom Chapters)
If you're looking to pick up heavy sacks or want to find more when exploring, I would recommend having a companion with you.

As I've been travelling around with my companions, they will randomly say something to indicate that there's a heavy sack or chest nearby.
If your companion makes mention of a bag or sack or loot of any kind, get searching.
🔑 Safeboxes and/or Pickpocketing (for achievement/endeavour/etc)
Crosswych, Glenumbra (🔑/🫳)
(Base Game)
Crosswych is a fairly good spot for safeboxes I found. But I have had to "compete" with other players here for them too.

There's also good opportunity for NPCs that aren't too close together to get some pickpocketing done.

Dockside Trading Stalls, Betnikh (🔑)
(Base Game)
A good amount of safeboxes here that are fairly easy to get, at the dockside market under the bridge.
👍 General "Good" Loot
If you want some better loot than just provisioning stuff from barrels and baskets, I recommend going to any place that has urns. They are more likely, I find, to have recipes, or blueprints, etc inside them.

Backpacks and furniture (like trunks and wardrobes) also seem to be good as well.

🌟 You might also want to have the Homemaker champion skill active.
