[RDY] Bastion Class - Heavy Cruiser

The Bastion was designed and build during the RDY Fleet modernization program and one of the first RDY cruisers to incorporate a build in fighter launchtube. The Bastion is one of the main frontline fighting ships for RFN operations it performence exceptional in ship to ship combat and anti-fighter duty using its high speed, armor and firepower. She is also the first RDY ship to incorporate the RDY "Heavy Flak Battery" and a classified propulsion system.

Description

The Bastion Heavy Frigate is one of the best PVP ships i have created. She is made completely out of heavy armor but using a grav-drive the Bastion is still super fast and able to change directions quickly. Her weapons are impressive and being able to handle any situations, dealing with fighters: use the flak, fighting ships bigger than it: use the rapid reload missiles. Ship to Ship combat: Impressive armerment of artillery and PDW, Scouting? use the onboard fighter. The Bastion is the swiss army knife of the RDY. The only big downside is she cant go into atmosphere and the custom turrets are easily destroyed by return fire (if they can get close).
