~Sea Witches are worse than the Succubus in that a Succubus only haunt men in their dreams and in particular only do this in desire of having children of their own. The Sea Witch on the other hand will often do this for pure sport and to continue adding to their life span hence why people believe they live for centuries. The big trade off for Sea Witches for their rather extensive life line is that when they die they have no Soul to move on with. Their physical forms instead turn to a foam of bubbly like substance before dissipating into the air or water.

~Sad to say it is quite challenging. They are the most capable of swimmers given it is their natural environment and you will likely never see one out of water unless they are sun bathing atop of great boulders that lay upon the waters surface. They bleed but that might be all you get from them before they remove your throat with their Kiss of Death where they push their tongue down one's mouth and grip the inside of the throat before ripping it out with their very tongue. The best thing one can do if you do find yourself alone in the black water and the Sea Witch is upon you is lay out your soul to God and Pray. By that point it will not be long before you are face to face with his Angels of Judgment.
