Erin's Corvyia

Beschreibung

Get ready to get a-murderin' as a whole murder of Corvyia have flocked to the Rim! An all-female race with a focus on witchcraft and spirituality, this corvid xenotypes are social, capable of flight, and appreciative of a fine shiny. Just be careful - these ladies have memories and grudges just as long as real crows. Enjoy a unique social dynamic with these egg-layers and live out your idealized cottagecore dreams with the Corvyia!

This mod contains only the xenotype, with no extra items or gameplay. No factions will be added.

  • None right now, but if you find a bug please let me know in the comments and include a HugsLib log!

  • Why?
    - Why not. <3

  • Where do they spawn??
    - They will mainly spawn in tribal factions, though with the Xenotype Spawn Control mod, you can put them wherever you want.

  • I have a suggestion! I don't like this or this!
    - Great, put it in the comments, just don't be an ass about it or you'll be ignored!

  • I found a bug! Help?
    - Put it in the comments with a description of what's happening and a link to a Hugslib log. No log, no help!

I don't know anymore T_T

So my corv couple actually had an egg normally and not through IVF. And the baby, while still born as an abandoned baby and not a colonist, was NOT born with any xenogenes. So IDK what changed, but we're making progress!

I played a little bit with this chaotic scream gene, or whatever it's called. You need to download the game for half an hour with my bunch of mods, and watch the title in the original for a long time. In general, this is an ability, an excellent interrupter of nervous breakdowns. Did the pawn want to kill? Just yell at her and she'll walk around and cool off. The ability caste is a powerful camp, and interrupting it allows you to apply it again. With this ability, I killed a strange corpse that started hunting. I used an ability on him, he stopped during the cast, other pawns beat him. Interrupted the ability, and applied it again, not allowing him to catch up with the target. Just observations about how the ability works.

I also got a bunch of random genes myself, although the egg hatched with the correct parents.

Sorry it took me so long, but I finally got around to having my colony's Corv have another egg(Way Better Romance flipped the sexual preferences of the couple and I forgot, thank god for IVF) and it's still broken, for me. There was only 1 baby this time thankfully, but it still hatched as an abandoned baby, and has a lot of xenogenes when it shouldn't have any.

@Kaichiro-san
- They behave like normal eggs, they just need the nest.

I was planning on having Corvyia's later in my current playthrough and see what the egg layer does, but Randy had a different plan and gave me a cargo pods filled with Corvyia eggs... the thing is it's been 2 months now and 3 off the eggs died, I don't know what the comfortable temperature for these little fellas need and I don't want to lose all 6 remaining eggs... since the egg seem to deteriorate outdoors even with the nest (I assume because of the temperature) and so I panicked and placed the eggs in my freezer and it looked like they're safe for some reason...

I guess where I'm getting at is how do I take care of the eggs? I feel sad when they just die because of my negligence...
